Totally Started Crying at Target Today

I was at Target today trying to find a daddy's day card for Timm. And they had a book called something like, Things Dads Learn From Their Daughters. It was close to that. Anyway, I starting reading some of it and I totally started crying. Right there in the store. I bought it for Timm. He will never read it. But I just had to get it.

I never had moments like that when I was pregnant. I never had them in the postpartum period - except over how giant I was but I still have those. But here I am, 3 months PP, crying over a book in Target.

I think that is sweet to be honest. Who knows, he might surprise you and read it to her.

I love the book Things Daughters Learn from Their Dads. My favorite high school teacher taught my favorite high school class: Contemporary Issues. We talked about everything and then some. He went over manners, how loans work for buying a house, getting a job and being interviewed - everything. He read to us from that book everyday until we finished it. I think that's an awesome gift to Timm and a great book, and I think your little girl might grow up to appreciate it too.
