I can count on my left hand the number of times they have worn shoes...they are starting to walk using furniture/wall assistance...should I be putting them in shoes?
I have heard when they are just learning to walk that bare feet is best. I always put shoes on DS when we are leaving the house, but not at home. We just got him fitted in his first pair of good shoes a couple of days ago.

i put my baby in shoes since he was born. but that was because i went under the theory that if he got used to them it wouldnt be a fight now when he is crawling around and standing up. They say if your baby can stand they need to be in shoes.
Rarely ever. Can't keep em on her. If she does they're little soft soled leather shoes nothing hard soled. Barefoot is my fave so apparently she takes after me!
A couple times when we've been out but it's really not recommended until LO starts walking or 1 y/o. It's best to keep LO barefoot while they learn to walk because their barefeet can feel the different textures on the ground.
rarely. when she moves up to the infant 2 room next week she has to wear shoes all day long. When we go out, I don't put shoes on her, but maybe I'll start. we have soft soled roobeez that she doesn't mind.

Re: Does your baby wear shoes?
Only when we leave the house she wears shoes. When were at home she's usually barefoot or just wearing socks, no shoes.
