Question about Insurance

So my husband and I just moved up to provo from Cedar. I had insurance through my employer until I quit the end of may and now I'm pregnant! Funny how that happened. We've been ttc for 2 years and then 2 weeks after we lose the insurance I'm pregnant.. yea anyway! I found out on June 7th after being in shock that i was and taking 4 pregnancy tests :) Anyway on the 8th I applied for Medicaid since I'm currently not working and I haven't heard anything back yet and I really really want to go to the doctor. Anyone else used Medicaid? How long did you have to wait for it?

    im on medicade now, it took a few wks for me because my insurance person ( the one you talk to personally, i cant remember what they are called) didnt tell me what i needed to fax in, since it was my first time on medicade also. i would call workforce services to find out if you are missing anything for your file for medicade, since you havent heard back yet. i like it they provide a lot of stuff through medicade like dental, eye, emergency visits, i was also told the lamaze class. good luck!
