.. curious - did you have to show 'proof' of your childs age? It mentions on a few websites you may have to but I've never actually seen/heard of this happening. We leave next Tuesday so I want to be sure bases are covered, I'll probably have DH call the airlines tomorrow, too.

I really would hope they could tell my DD wasn't 2 years old yet in the event that i can't get ahold of a BC in 4 days... hmmm. I can get a printout of the immunizations any time so maybe that'd be ideal as backup just in case.
What a dumb mom moment, I have no idea why we haven't ordered or gotten BC's yet. Lame.
her first flight we didn't have the birth certificate yet. we just brought the paper from the hospital that is basically a temporary bc.
and when we check in we go, show them the certificate and they print a special boarding pass for a "lap child" with her name on it. they check that at security. so i guess, it seems weird no one else has had to do that.
