How about Michael Elliot? Or Elliot Michael? I just so those names a lot.

Good luck. If it's a boy we are having a JR! I have my appt on Friday we'll see if they can hint at the sex of our baby. Such exciting times!!!

boy names are REALLY hard. we just want to go with something a little different.. nothing in the top 100. elliot is a family name, as is michael - hence the reasoning for the middle names. it's interesting to see what people like/hate!

it is sooo exciting once you know the sex and you can start really thinking about things and zero in on decisions.. thanks for your help everyone!

Boy names are our bane as well, partially because so may are "taken" in my family - I have 3 brothers, 1 BIL, and 6 nephews (it gets worse if you think about cousins, who are ALL boys).

Yeah, yeah, I know no name is really taken, blah blah, but I'd rather avoid the confusion with immediate family and having two Michaels or whatever.

Anyway, I like Keefer. Good German name.

I didn't like the 1 syllable first names with your last name. Cole K__ reminds me of cold cuts. Maybe I'm just hungry!
