Sharp pains down low...

in 3rd Trimester
Is anyone else feeling sharp pains really low like on your cervix? It has been happening for the past week but today is competely awful. I'm not sure if it has to do with my internal yesterday or not. Its so hard to walk around work and I feel like she could just fall out. I'm not sure how much of work I can handle if this continues...

    I had this a few days ago. Dr. said it's normal. The Mayo Pregnancy Guide says it's the uterus and cervix getting ready.

    I've been having those as well. Not a whole lot but a few a day for the past few days. Not very pleasant!

    I asked my MW about it yesterday.  She said the stabbing needle-like pains were because baby boy is twisting and turning his head to get into position, and he ends up head butting spots that cause the pain.

    Yup.  Yesterday I felt like I had a BBQ skewer or something poking my cervix.

    I have had two different occasions with this and my doc blamed it on dehydration. So make sure you drink plenty of fluids!
