South County OB & Birthing Center Recs

Hello,A friend of mine just found out she's expecting.Do any of you have recs for either an OB and/ or a Birthing Center in Irvine or South County?She lives in Mission, but is willing to travel a bit.  I'm really only familiar with prenatal services in Central and Coastal regions of the county.TIA!

    I donated a bunch of BM to the South Coast Milk Bank in Irvine, which is also part of a really nice birthing center called South Coast Women's Health Care. It's close to Woodbridge. I checked out their birthing room and it was very nicely decorated (more like a bedroom), calm, and with a huge tub. The lady told me that when they have someone coming in to deliver, they close down the entire facility so it's just the one family in there. They also offer pre- and post-natal care via their midwives and nurses. https://www.southcoastmilkbank.com

    I'm happy with my OB.  Her name is Dr. Margaret Audell and she is part of the OC Women's Medical Group (OCWMG).  Their offices are at Saddleback Hospital and that is where they do their deliveries.  I don't know if any of those docs would also deliver at a birthing center.  The group is quite large and I have 4-5 friends that used other docs in the group.  Everyone has been happy.

     I'm only 18 weeks, so I haven't been through a delivery there yet, but have heard only good things.

    Dr. Audell isn't my OB, but she did deliver my son.  I go to Catherine Han in that same practice.

    I highly recommend BJ Snell at Beach Cities Midwifery.  I had a wonderful experience with her.
