when to install car seat?

Mamas - at what point did you install your car seat/base? I'd like to get it inspected, but don't want to do it too early. At the same time, I don't want to wait too long, either. Thoughts?

I think it was around 35 weeks. I'd reached the "could go anytime" stage and we wanted to be ready and not have to worry about doing it while I was in the hospital. Smile

is it bad i can't remember? i think around 36-37 weeks

We installed it about 3 weeks before my due date and we actually took it into the local highway patrol office and had them do it with us and so that it was installed correctly from the start and we got it inspected immediately.

I had an appt to get it installed at 36 weeks... I went into labor at 35 weeks so the appt was too late for us. Next time. I'll have it installed around 34 weeks just to be on the safe side. 37 weeks is considered full term so I would highly suggest to do it before that time.
