need help naming daughter after grandmothers
My DH and my grandmothers names are Ollie and Lou Ellen. We have chosen Olivia as one name, but cant come up with another name for my grandmother. I do not particularly like Lou or Ellen, but I wouldnt mind a different version of the names. Please help me come up with something to honor both of our grandmothers

You could use the Lou as an ending...granted, it's a bit old-fashioned, but something like Marylou etc. You could also take the Elle from Ellen, and use names that end or begin with that. Even Elle could probably stand on its own, but it's not necessarily my personal favorite.

Some one also mentioned Nella earlier - that's fairly close to a scrambled Ellen. Or you could go with variations like Elena, Elaine, Eloise, Ella, Lulu, Lois, Eleanor, Nellie, Nell etc.

Olivia seems to be the best alternative to Ollie... Ellen Lou leaves you a lot of room to play around.
