would you also send an evite?

DHs party is next week and I really need numbers for food. I have been emailing some people to ask if they plan on attending. I am thinking even though I did send out paper invites also sending and evite (with directions to our house). Any thoughts?

    I saw your post yesterday about your frustration with the RSVPS. I would say if you have already sent out paper and e-mailed a follow-up, an evite would be overkill.

    I have not sent emails to everyone...just a few people..I would not send them an invite.

    Sounds like over kill to me.  I would either assume they are no's but plan for extra food or pick up the phone and call them and put them on the spot - do it nicely by saying something along the lines "I had not heard back from you on the party and I'm about to order the food so wanted to check in and see if you are coming or not".
