I had my ER this morning. I guess because I stimulated so well, I assumed we would have a lot more, but we ended up with 9 eggs that they thought were good. Is 9 a good number?
It just worries me. I know that so much can happen and I was praying for more. I worry that we won't have any to freeze...OH HELP ME BEFORE I LOSE MY MIND. My poor DH keeps telling me "It is FINE!"
Re: I need major reassurance....
9 is good!! It's better than 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 or none!
I know it sounds like a cliche, but the truth is, you just need one good one.
Sending you lots and lots of good fert vibes!!!! Hang in there!
Good Luck!
TTC since August 2008
IVF#1: BFFN; IVF#2: BFN; FET with new RE: BFN
IVF#3: ER 1/15; ET 1/20; Beta#1 1/29: 339!
Twins girls born via c/s at 37w/3d!!
"Let it go, this too shall pass."
That is a GREAT number!
For my first IVF we got 14 eggs, but 8 fertilized.
For the second cycle we got 10 eggs, but all 10 fertilized.
So during the second cycle I had fewer eggs but ended up with more embies and one more frosty.
Really quality is what matters. Hoping you have some rock stars in there!
Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
remember it is quality over quantity. my first IVF I had 15, 13 mature, 10 fert and had 4 make it to freeze. with my second, I had 32 eggs, twenty something mature, 21 embryos. . .and none made it to freeze and I had to have a 3dt . . .
T&P that your embies are beautiful and you'll get some perfect frosties!
