With Ian they broke it. With Marcos, it broke at home after I got out of the bathtub to help calm contractions. I had him an hour later.

I invested about $10 at Kohl's after coupons in a water proof mattress cover just in case mine did break while in bed. It didn't, they had to do it in the hospital. But it was still a good purchase, since I bf'd and leaked a lot. Embarrassed

My membranes were stripped on Monday, but they were still in tact then. My water broke on Tuesday morning, so yeah, I consider that natural, even though they stripped me the day before :-)
