Whats the dumbest thing you did to/with a child...

before you had kids??

I just saw someone gave an 11 mo old a peanut M&M and I thought that this would be funny. I am so guilty of stuff like this, I really had no clue back then.

When FI and I had just started dating, I offered to watch his nephew who couldn't have been more than 7-8 months old. She only brought bottles/formula to my house but I though it would be a great idea to give him a bunch of super sugary cinnamon applesauce. He didn't sleep for hours. Now I would be pissed if someone did that to my own kiddo.

    When I was babysitting a family friend's DD, her mom was strictly organic and all natural ingredients. I felt the poor baby was deprived so I gave her things like snowballs and cornbread, and one time I gave her some McDonald's. Now, looking back I know that was VERY dumb of me b/c mainly, it wasn't any of my business what the mom fed her child, but second, I could have done harm if there was a medical issue!!

    I let my friends kids eat a bunch of ding dongs a few hours before she came to get them. I also used to buy all the annoying toys......They have since paid me back in full for both of those offenses!
