My DD today and I'm having contractions!!
I went in this morning to monitor the baby's heartr ate and everything looks good. After leaving the OB's office, I've been having consistent contractions every 5-6 minutes lasting 1 minute. Today was the first time I've ever experienced a contraction, ouch! My doctor doesn't want me to go in until they're 4 minutes apart for 1 hour, especially because I was only 1/2cm dilated this morning which is better for me since I don't want to go to the hospital too early. Did any of you have consistent contractions then it stopped?
Also, since my OB is advising me to drink lots of fluid, I feel like the contractions are waaaaay more intense because of the full bladder, Is that normal?
Wow! Can't believe I'm so close to meeting my baby boy!!

I'm probably way late but I did have contractions that were timeable and went away. But they weren't painful ones.
Hope all is well! I'm guessing since we haven't heard back from you you've probably delivered by now. Can't wait to hear all about it!
ohhhh, exciting!!
I never had timeable contractions (I was still confused about how to time them by the time I went to the hospital. my water broke and I started contracting but couldn't ever really see a clear start/end point for timing purposes).
