I clicked "48 hours", but my RE doesn't consider it bedrest. He says to just not go to work and "take it easy," but I can be out of bed around the house.
We are adopting! Currently waiting for our domestic infant adoption match.
The RE who did my 1st ET told me to "take it easy" (i.e. lay on the couch, etc.) for that day and the next, then back to normal the day after. So about 36 hours. The RE who did my 2nd ET told me to take it easy too, but only for that day, and back to normal activity the next day.
I took the conservative route and did quasi-bed rest for that day, the next (except I went to acu) and then worked from home the third day.

I just met with my nurse/RE to discuss my 1st IVF and asked that question - they said i can resume light activity pretty soon after and did not have to go on any strict bed rest - obviously they don't want me to run a marathon, but are okay with normal activity.
My clinic "requires" 48 hours. However, prior to IVF #1 I did a ton of research and there is NO known benefit to bedrest. In fact, some theorize that moving around may be beneficial by facilitating blood flow to the UTE. So I did pseudo/modified BR for 12 - 24 hours.
Re: clicky poll - How many days of bedrest after ET?
