Anyone on Progesterone??

Dr put me on today - 5w1d.

I was spotting this morning and as a precaution she put me on it!! I also had blood work done today and I go back on Friday to make sure everything is OK - Spottin was brown so Im not too concerned, and it was only once this morning!!

That was strange timing, I was just posting about this too. Mind if I ask what you # was? I'm worried my # is too low but my Dr hasn't gotten back to me yet.

I'm on a 1cc injection per day and have been since before my embryo transfer. DId you doctor take blood and check your levels first? Spotting can mean many things. Unless your P4 is low just upping progesterone may not be the answer.

My OB put me on progesterone too. I don't know what my numbers are though. I've had one shot so far and I go in once a week every tuesday to get another progesterone shot.

I get two shots (one in each butt cheek) twice a week (mon/thurs). I have PCOS and wasn't making enough progesterone to begin with, so I needed it in order to help the pregnancy progress. I started at week 5, and I'm at week 9 now. The doctor said I'll be on it til at least 12 or 13 weeks, when the placenta will start making enough to sustain the baby. I get my levels checked every two weeks and it's just not rising enough. I was at 13.2 two weeks ago when I got checked. All's well with the baby though!

im also on progesterone...put me on it today! Had problems last time with a miscarriage so im guessing they are thinking i need it but havnt had bloodwork yet

My OB put me on progesterone simply based on my history of recurrent miscarriages. She never had me go for blood work. I hope everything turns out well for you!

I am on a progesterone suppository. I have been on it since my IUI. My Progesterone count was low due to my PCOS, so I have to remain on the progesterone for at least 10 weeks.
