I know, I know, everyone is sick of talking about nap times.
But I need to hear from you ladies. I've been away from bumping lately (family issues and DD is a lot more active now).
So, how DD napping is again all over the board starting right about the 7 month mark.
How much is your 7 month old napping and what's your bed time? I'm curious if we need to shift things a bit and maybe bed time needs to be earlier.
Thanks for your input on yet again another sleep related post.
Re: Let's talk about naps please
She was a catnapper but now is down to 3 a day.
morning 30 min
afternoon 1hr 20min
late afternoon 45min-1hr20min
bedtime... 7:30-8pm but we are not very consistent. No matter what time she goes to bed she wakes up at 6:30AM ... even when she went to bed at 10pm!
Wake: 6:00am-6:30am
Nap: 10am (30-45min)
Nap: 2pm (30-45min)
Nap: 6pm (30-45min)
Bedtime: 8:30pm-9:00pm
Rough schedule...
At right about 7 months S started to nap weird again- 30 mins 3 times a day.
First she was cutting a tooth, then she learned to crawl and finally in the last week she is trying to cut down to 2 naps.
So some days we are still at 3 bad naps and some days we are at 2 really good long naps. I have noticed that the nights we actually get her in bed at 6:30 (the goal bedtime) she will have better napping the next day. She will also nap better if I put her down right at the first sign of tiredness.
I am chalking her bad sleep up to normal baby growing since she is getting back on track.
One early morning nap for about 45 minutes and then maybe another one in the afternoon for 45 and a definite one around 1 for two hours. Bedtime is between 6-7.
*Sigh*
Tegan was taking 3 naps a day, a morning nap that would last between 45-90 minutes, an early afternoon nap (starting normally between 11:30 and 12:30) that would last at least 1.5 hours, normally 2-2.5 hours, and a 30-45 minute late afternoon nap. Her bedtime is at 7-8 PM and she sleeps till 6-8 AM.
The bedtime has stayed the same, but lately her naps have started shifting and it's getting more difficult to get her to sleep.
