The waiting game is awful...

I'm waiting for the phone call with our CVS test results. I am so anxious--waiting all weekend and now today I can't take any more. My stomach is in knots. Either way our life is about to change...a) bad news about the baby or b) baby is healthy and we will know if it's a he or she.  I'm hoping for B of course!

    what does a CVS test for?  idk if it is for handicaps but, if it is, don't worry too much- it will be stressful but an exceptional child will give you and the world more love than any average kid ever could.  We have many exceptionals in our family- my little brother, my aunt, and two cousins- they are amazing people.

    Yes, it tests for chromosomal abnormalities, specifically Down's, Trisomy 18 and one other (I'm at really high risk for those first two). Thank you for your kind words...it will be a relief to find out either way so I can prepare for what the future holds!
