Allergies in 7 month old? Anyone use Benadryl?

DH and I both have horrible horrible allergies.  I've noticed them in DD for about a week or so now, she rubs her eyes constantly (not tired because she is happy and alert/active otherwise), she's sneezy and has a runny nose. 

Her Pedi said she wasn't ready to diagnose her with allergies at this age, but that due to mine and DH's history with them, it is a likelihood.  Well, I am pretty da-n sure that is what it is, and her sleep has been horrible because of it, up sneezing and snotty. 

Anyone deal with allergies and given Benadryl at this age, and if so what was the amount you gave? 

EDD: 01/08/10, Born 8 weeks early on 11/16/09 at 32w3d due to pre-eclampsia and partial abruption
