They didn't find any polyps and everything looked great according to the doctor. So, no real reason given for my incessant bleeding. She thinks maybe I just have a really sensitive cervix. I am ok with that for now I guess.
So, it is too late this cycle, but for the next she put me on Letrozole which she called "like the next generation of clomid." Has anyone ever been on that? Any stories to share?

Glad everything looked good, though the ongoing bleeding is no fun
I'm starting letrozole (the brand name is Femara) this month too and doing an IUI. Its supposed to have less side effects than Clomid. My insurance doesn't cover it and its REALLY expensive. Hope it works for both of us!
Aaaaah, Femara! (I obviously haven't googled yet.) I have heard of Femara, so that makes more sense. I was pretty surprised that she gave me something I hadn't heard of. I thought I had seen it all on this board, and I guess I had.
Eek about the cost. Do you know how expensive is expensive?
I was only googling femara trying to price check and recognized the name. I'm supposed to take 5 mg for 7 days (CD3-10) it comes in 2.5 mg so I'll need 14 and the cheapest I can find it is at Walmart for $210.
Interesting, thanks! I only have to take it from CD3-7, so hopefully it will be a few dollars less. I did go to their website, and you can get a waiver, but it looks like it may only be for those who use it for its intended purpose, breast cancer.
Let me know how it goes! I won't be starting until the beginning of July since I am CD6 today and missed this month's window. GL!
