Baby Nurse????

My very good friend is expecting triplets in two weeks.  She is recently widowed and has a 17 month old son.  I have been staying with her since her husband passed away, and we just found out about baby nurses.  Never knew such a service existed until very recently. 

 Anyone use one, can recommend one?  Feedback on necessity with multiples!  Thanks!

    I have never heard of this...but I am sorry for your friends loss. I would suggest looking into churches/ synogogues, etc....to see if there is help available.

    This sounds bad but I found out abaout baby nurses watchin "Tori & Dean"..she had one for her kids.  Check Craigslist, referrals from OB or hospital, or even Google to see if there are services.

    There are also postpartum doulas that are there to assist the mom as well.  Have your friend (or you on her behalf) join the Anne Arundel County birthing circle.  (It's a free group on Yahoo).  That way you could ask there and get some great recommendations.

     

    I am so sorry for your friend's loss and that is so nice of you to help her out during this difficult time!
