We are working on planning C's 3rd birthday party. We did Pump it Up last year and a party at home when he turned 1. I really don't want to do another at home party b/c it just gets too crowded in our downstairs. We're looking at having about 10-12 kids, plus around 20 adults (we have alot of family). Any suggestions on where to have a party? I'm open to suggestions in town as well, as the guests will be coming from all over.
One idea we had if we have a party at home was to rent a moonwalk or waterslide inflatable. Any one have a recommendation for somewhere to rent from?
TIA!
Re: bday party ideas in Woodlands/Spring area
I'm not sure if your neighborhood has a club house or anything like that, but I am thinking about renting ours for our daughter's 1st Birthday. It's a nice place, it rents for $100, and can accomodate a lot of people. I would also rent a bounce house and put it outside.
I figure it would be 100% worth the hundred dollars not to have to worry about the mess at my house.
The Woodlands Children's Museum (Though they aren't reopening until July. I think your DS has almost the same bday as Blake, so this may not work. I had originally wanted to book his party here, but we're doing Gymboree instead.)
My Gym
Gymboree
Bear Branch Rec Center
The Little Gym
Main Event (We had Maren's here last year. It actually works out well for adults and kids since there are activities for all ages.)
Woodlands AMF Bowling Alley
Shankz
Old McDonald's Farm
Rob Fleming Park (The gazebo there is awesome and totally spacious if the weather happens to not cooperate.)
Young Chef's Academy (Though he may be a bit too young still.)
No recs on moonbounce/slide rentals. I considered doing this last year and chickened out. I'm so paranoid the weather won't cooperate!
Great suggestions! Thanks!
Monkaloo's ideas were awesome.
Sarah's 3rd birthday party was at the old Woodlands Children's Museum. The staff there did a super job and the party was a lot of fun.
We just had her 4th birthday party at Cranebrook Pool here in The Woodlands. Not sure if you want to go the pool route, but it was a great party. You can rent some of the Woodlands pools but you can also have parties during regular pool hours too. Cranebrook is a great pool for non-swimmers because it has awesome water features.
Last spring we rented a bouncy house through a place called Spring Party Rentals. My neighbor had used them twice and she recommended them. They did a good job for us too. The number is 281-546-4359.
