Since I had an anterior placenta with Marion, movements were never very strong (especially at this point) and I almost never saw her move on the outside.
This baby though, totally different story. She's already kicking me hard enough that I literally jump. Sitting in church today, Josh could see her move all through the service.
Is this just normal for a posterior placenta? Or do I have a really active baby?
Re: fetal movement question
Cooper was like that in utero, and I had an anterior placenta. Dr. Dryden said that was probably how he tied himself in such a knot. He's been really really active ever since birth too and has done all the physical milestones (rolling, sitting) early. He's just a very physical boy.
I think you have a wiggle worm on your hands.
According to my DH (who is by no means qualified to comment) - things are just more stretched out the 2nd time around so they have more room to move :-). No clue if it's true, but it does make some sense.
Brady was 100x more active than Grant.
good to know it's normal to be birthing a ninja
So much about this pregnancy is different than with Marion, it makes me feel like I'm pg for the first time all over again.
