Disney trip or big Christmas?

What would you pick?   Would it be fun with almost 1 yr old? 

My mom has offered one or the other.  She usually buys the kids "big" present.  They'd still have a nice Xmas but toned down.

    Is Mom offering to go on the trip with you to help with the kids, or to keep the one year old while you take the others?  If so, I'd totally pick Disney!

    DISNEY!!  Come with us in November.  Or well, we could be at the park at the same time where we could meet up.  You know what I mean...  We're going the week after Thanksgiving for 2-3 days (like Monday-Wednesday).

    It would be so fun to go with you guys! The kids would have a blast!  But mom would be coming too (and all three kids)  and we'd be going the week after Christmas (thru the New Year).

    Hmmmmmmm.  I wonder if we could move our trip.  Will it be too much of a madhouse?  It's the ILs' Christmas, but depending on when they left...DH is off that whole week anyway.  Would it be nuts to consider that?  I'll see what my mom's Christmas plans are.

    Of course Disney....even though that is a busy time. It can also be very, very cold. We went Jan 3rd this year and wore our winter coats, gloves, scarfs and drank hot drinks and no swimming....still was a blast!

    I would rather put needles in my eyes than set foot in WDW during the week between Christmas and New Years. Same for Thanksgiving week and Easter.

    Could you do the week before?

    No.  DD would be in Kindergarten part of that week and couldn't take all that time off of work (have the week off before).   I went in August last year so I know what its like busy.
