anyone else's LO on prescription vitamins?

DD's pedi wrote a prescription for vitamins for her at her 6 month appt. on Fri., i had never heard of this before---anyone else's LO taking them?

    yes. he started a multivitamin with fluoride at 6 months. before that he had a vitamin d supplement because he was ebf.

    Mine has been on vitamin D since birth because of being EBF and that we live in the Northwest where we don't see much sun. Other than that, he isn't taking other vitamins but it isn't that uncommon from what I understand.

    Yes at our 6mo appt pedi wrote a script for a vitamin since dd is ebf. I found out though that it is the same as the otc one. :-)

    DD has been on a calcium and vitamin d supplement from time she was born due to her calcium levels being slightly lower than normal.
