Does the site of the epidureal injection ever hurt?

Sometimes I feel a little pain in my lower back, in the spot where I got the epidural 3 months ago. Is this normal? It's not a terrible pain, but I was wondering whether I should call my doctor.

  • I had the same pain.  I blamed it on the fact that they had to do it twice.  With my first kiddo I never had any pain.

  • I have not experienced any, but I have heard that some people feel something.  You may check with the doc, just in case.
  • I had a little trouble at first and like Charlotte I think it was bc they had to do it twice but now I don't seem to have any problems.  Hope it gets better for you soon!

My pain is from back labor, not the epidural. Hope you feel better soon.
