s/o bf'ing class

When they go over pumping, do they make recommendations on the best pumps to get?  I've been waiting to go to my class to commit to a pump, 'cause I'm hoping they give some advice on that.

    My bf instructor did, but I took what she said with a grain of salt.  She hasn't used a pump in 10 yrs.  She recommended the two lowest options that Medela makes.  I've since read really awful reviews on them.  Hopefully yours will have more recent experience.

    The LN at our class went over many different pumping options with different brands ranging from cheap to the expensive.  I think it was useful info for some of those that hadn't done their research yet.  Of course, I'm already set to the Medela double pump, but was nice to hear it was one of the recommended ones for ladies that have to go back to work.

    Mine said hands down to get the Medela pump, no question. ?I am going to get the double one because I feel like saving time is going to be a huge saver, even if I have to spend more up front for it.

    they just went into the benefits vs drawbacks of manual, single electric, and double electric...not any one brand though.

     I found reviews online to be the most helpful.  My hospital sold medelas but I loved my lansinoh one.

    My class did not really go over pumping at all - I wish that had done more on that.  She did recommend that we rent a pump b/f purchasing one.  That was really it.

    My BF instructor had several of the big name pumps & goes over how to use each one.

    We were recommended the Medela pumps. It didn't feel like a marketing pitch or anything like that, though we were provided with a price list for all the Medela stuff in the hospital's shop. I already have one, so I didn't pay that much attention to this part anyway.
