Anyone have any tips for getting the Nystatin into the babe's mouth - and keeping it in?? 1mL in each "cheek" 4x/day means we are all getting covered in this sticky stuff 4x/day!! I'm pretty sure none of it is staying in her mouth!! Help!

I tilt his head so the cheek we're going for is resting more on my hand, then squirt it in REALLY slowly so he can keep up. He started to get the hang of it after a while.

I put in on my finger after every feeding and let her suck it off, then rub some on the roof of her mouth and cheeks.

If you keep having problems you can ask your docotr/NP about doing Gentian Violet instead, it is so much easier because you "paint" it in their mouth with a q-tip and you only have to do it once!
