Postpartum Depression
What did the dr say about getting pregnant....
Hi, I do not have PPD but I take effexor and klonopin (which are drugs for depression and anxiety) because of VERY serious vertigo, its a long story haha. They are the only things that have worked for me and there is NO way Im getting off of them ANY time soon. However, my DH and I are thinking about having another baby (we also would be fine if we adopted again) but wanted to know what your doctors have said about being on these types of drugs during pregnancy. I, of course, know they are not ideal to be on during pregnnacy but it can be done. I feel bad for putting my baby at risk but Im really torn about what to do. Im going to my dr on July 15th and at that point we will get either the go ahead or the NO WAY and you just need to go forward with another adoption (which is fine either way). Anyways....thank you ladies!

Effexor, maybe. Klonopin? No way.
