I buy bags of frozen mixed fruit and use that.

You are officially the smartest woman in the world.

  • Apricot, ice cubes, applesauce (although messy) and frozen prune juice. He loves it all!
  • Well, I'm going to come in and piss all over everyone's parade, but I couldn't get Samuel to use one for the life of me!  I haven't tried yet with Elijah--but knowing them, Eli will love it because Sam hated it.  It's the story of my boys' young lives so far.
  • DD is refusing all purees already.  She just wants to feed herself.  I wonder if this would work....  It sounds like it is mostly for frozen foods?
  • pineapple, watermelon, frozen grapes
  • Watermelon is great...so messy but Sam loves it! I EBF so we did freeze some BM cubes and put those in there for teething.

Really you can put anything in there. The softer the better.

  • Cantaloupe, grapes, bananas (which SUCK, you might as well throw out the mesh after a bananas been in there), tea biscuts, watermelon. Any fruit really.

LOL, why would you put applesauce??!

I never put ice or anything frozen.

  • Peaches. Mmm, she loved it!

  • I think a lot of people do frozen apple slices, and I would think frozen pear slices or maybe a carrot frozen or not would work well.

  • We put pretty much anything in there that I'd be afraid of her chocking on.  We even put plain brown rice in there one night.  We've also done ice cubes for teething, cantaloupe, apples, pears, strawberries(flame away),  bananas which I will never do again, impossible to get clean.

  • I put in the frozen cubes of homemade baby food. ?If I feed her with the spoon she eats maybe one cube of food. ?If it's frozen and in the bag she will eat 2-3 cubes/slices. ?I have tried: ?frozen avacado slices, frozen pear cubes, fresh pear slices, fresh watermelon & ice cubes.
