QOTW: Do you consider yourself a City Girl or a Country Girl?
Re: ***2IF weekly check-in***
Update: I had another u/s this week which I wasn't expecting. The back of the neck measured well but the baby was moving around to much to get a good photo to take home.
I found out my dr doesn't really do VBACs so I'm a sad duck. I really hated my c-section. Guess I'm gonna have to get over that, huh?
QOTW: I am definitely a city girl, but I feel very fortunate to live in a city that is so close to real country and farm lands, the coast, the mountains, the high desert. I don't get out there a lot, but I love it when I have the opportunity.
UPDATE: I'm having another little girl, Norah Grace. I'm finally starting to feel better - still throwing up on occasion, but not daily and for hours anymore. My next level 2 u/s & the fetal echo cardiogram is the 29th - I can't wait to see her again and see how her neck looks.
QOTW: A little of both. I live in the city and I like it, but I enjoy my time so much more when I'm in the country.
QOTW: I'm definitely a country girl. But, not like cowboy or redneck country. I'm more hillbilly country. Born and raised in rural Arkansas. I love my roots. We live in a big city now, but it's just for work. H and I dream of moving back to the sticks one day.
Update: Still working on healing from surgery. It's been rough and long so far and I'm still in a fair amount of pain but hoping it's all worth it in the end.
QOTW: Definitely a country girl. I grew up in the country where tractors are everywhere. The city makes me nervous.
Queenbone, if you want to try a VBAC, can you find a doc who does do them? I'd totally switch in that situation.
QQTW:
I suppose I'm a city girl, but I'm glad to be close to the mountains.
Update: Still testing out my trigger. Got the faintest line today so I think it'll be out of my system tomorrow. I will start testing on Monday and I *really* hope this is it so I can tell DH on our anniversary/Father's Day.
QOTW: I'm a city girl but enjoy visiting the country once a year.
Update: CD5, started a new herbal/vitamin regimen, and probably going to take a mini-break (no temping/charting/OPKs).
QOTD: I guess I would say country, if I had to pick, but neither is really accurate for me. I'd love to live in a small but wealthy farming town, (which of course has shopping!) located within an hour of a large, urban city... that would be the Gemini in me! =-)

Miracle DD born 12.2005
TTC #2 since Dec 2008 w/ PCOS
***P/SAIF Always Welcome***
Keep it Natural, Baby!
Update: I am going in today for acu and an U/S. I am kinda nervous about seeing my follies. When I went in on Tues there were only 3, so my RE increased my inj dosage. I am praying there are more today.
QOTD: I am a total city girl and love living here. Every now and then I do like to go visit the country. I'm glad I live close to the beach and mountains, so I can get my feel when I need a change of scenery. I also love me some country music too.
TTC #2 since Nov '07
Tried 4 cycles of Clomid, TI, Gonal-f, and IUI's - all BFFN's
Both tubes removed Nov '09
Low AMH = 0.3
IVF #1 for Feb '10 - cancelled due to poor response - Gonal-f and Repronex
IVF #1.2 for June '10 - Gonal-f, Menopur, and micro Lupron
ER - 6/19 (2 retrieved), ET - 6/22 (1 transferred with ICSI), Beta 7/5 = BFFN
IVF #2 for Nov '10 was cancelled due to poor response - Follistim, Repronex, and micro Lupron
IVF #2.2 for Feb '11 - Gonal-f, Repronex, and Ganirelix
ER - 2/24 (8 retrieved), ET - 3/1 (2 transferred with ICSI), froze 3, Beta 3/11 = BFFN
FET - 4/19 (3 transferred), Beta 4/28 = BFP, EDD 1/4/12
Good Morning (oops Afternoon)!! I only post sporadically. I have been trying to curb my nest/bump addiction!
)
I am starting lupron on Monday for IVF#2. ER is set for July 2 give or take depending on my ovary. I am really praying that this will work because I can't take much more of this.
DD has her first dance recital this week. Her daycare offers ballet and the recital was so cute. She was the youngest in the class and was more interested in waving to Mommy and Daddy! She was so proud of herself!
Update: I had my 2nd ultrasound today and everything looked great with our little bean. S/he was measuring 2 days ahead and had a heartbeat of 150.
QOTD: I guess I'm a little bit of both.
I'm still on my break I guess. Trying to save for injectables.
I spotted a few days and then nothing a couple days ago, after acupuncture, and I go for another acupuncture appointment today. Don't know if it is doing anything or not.
QOTW- I'm a country girl in disguise. I grew up in the country and miss it terribly, I go to my parent's farm very often. I do however like having all my shopping and appointments close.
"Just keep swimming, just keep swimming..."
QOTW: Country girl that likes to spend some time in the city
AFM: I still have not thrown up *knock on wood*, but I am taking Zofran once a day for nausea. It is hard to keep up with three toddlers when you are feeling sick to your tummy LOL. I have had 3 u/s now and baby has been looking great. My MFM does do VBACs but won't induce from a zero point. We really want a Dec. baby, for tax reasons, so I plan to do a VBAC but if things haven't started by 12/30 I will do a repeat CS that day. My EDD is 1/2/11.
Update: I start Femara (2.5mg) tonight. I am a little too excited for this first real IUI. I know I am going to be so hurt if it doesn't work out but I can't help it. I have my next follie scan on Monday, June 21. Also, even though I am OOP for my IUI, I found out my RE has a special rate for the company I work for and its about half what it would regularly cost! Another good note, it looks like my rx insurance is going to cover both my femara and trigger! $15 each! I don't know if that is common but I was expecting OOP for that too!
QOTD: I am a city girl who likes to escape to the country every now and then.

TWINS!! EDD 10/25/2011
This is just like me. I like both, but probably prefer country a little more... just not permanently.
Update: I finally feel like I belong here, so I might be posting a little more often. We finally started treatment!!! YAY! We had IUI#1 on Wednesday, so I am in the 2ww... going to be testing out the trigger since I am a POAS-aholic! YAY! We had two good follies (15 and 17, I think he said) on the right and none on the left. DH's numbers were "good" according to the RE and he seems confident that the IUI will work for us.

Update: My EDD is 2/4/2011 but I half expect that to change at my first u/s next Wed.
QOTW: I used to think I was more of a small city girl. But, I live in a small town surrounded by farmland now. And, I love it.
Update: Not much to report. Six weeks today. Our ultrasound is next Weds., so just praying we see a nice heartbeat. Also hoping there's only one in there, given my pregnancy complications the last time, but will be thankful either way.
QOTW: I'm a suburb girl, so not really either! We lived in the city before we got married, and it was fun, but I wouldn't want to raise kids in the city. Never lived in the country, but I don't think I'd like it.
UPDATE: Started BCP on June 10 and i start injections on July 1st for my first IVF/ICSI . I am nervous and excited all at the same time.
QOTW: I am a city girl. I have always lived in the city but i do enjoy the country on the fall days
Update: Not much to report. Tired, and still taking zofran everyday! Lincoln is thinking about crawling, so that is exciting!
QOTW: I am a total country/rural girl. The city gives me hives, and I only go when I HAVE to!
Update: Had my MIL visiting since FIL passed away earlier this month. Missed my OPK + again. Missed it last month because we were down visiting them. Who would have thought would be such a c@ck block. My lap top also stopped working so now I can only be online once a day after DH is done work.
QOTW: Country Girl but in the state I live, there isn't any city so it narrows it down a bit. I lived in Boston for a bit but it definitely wasn't for me.
Can you add me please. I introduced myself awhile back, but I don't think I've done any weekly check-in's on this board yet. I am usually over on TTTC but I do stop in!
We have been trying for a year now. I have been seeing an RE and had bloodwork done earlier this month. I have a low AMH which is very disheartening. I meet with the RE again on Thursday to discuss another plan.
UPDATE: I'm in my 2ww, tomorrow is 11dpo and I'm thinking of testing. I have very little hope this month but really just want it to be over with. I guess that means I shouldn't test! LOL
QOTW: Yes. I'm very adaptable and love aspects of both. I live just outside (20 mins) of a very very large metro on over an acre of land but would love about 9 more acres, horses, etc. but I don't want to give up my city. I love where I live. Mountains, water, country lands, near the desert....I've got it all!
Sorry I haven't check in since... forever. It's hard for me to come on here and see all the BFPs. But todays another CD1 so here ya go... (sorry I'm also a day late in responding)
Update: DH had his SA signed off by a Urologist, sent the report to my Dr. yesterday and am waiting on her to call me with the next step. Let's get this show on the road!
~ Definitely city girl!
Glad to see that BFP and nursery list growing- GL ladies in the 2ww!
QOTW: I'm a bit of both- I'm at home in the city or the country. But I'm probably more of a country girl. I like to get my hands dirty in the garden. And if I'm stuck in a really big city for too long, where I can't get away into some wide open spaces, I get antsy. I can also drive a tractor. True story.
