A guy sees DS at friendly's tonight and this is how the conversation goes:
Him: How old is he, 6 months?
Me: He is 4 months.
H: Wow, big boy! I don't think you weighed that much at 1 year (talking to his 2 year old daughter).
This made me very mad, DS is 15 maybe 16 pounds and about 25-26 inches (we see the doc on monday for his check up). He is by no means a "big boy" and seriously if you took a 1 year old and sat him next to my 4 month old, you would see a huge difference!
Thanks for letting me rant!

I feel you! I HATE when people make comments about DS.
At his 4 month check-up he was 17 pounds and 26 inches.
Ya, I agree with pp, to say a baby is big isn't an insult. Babies are considered healthy when they're big and chubby!
ETA: DD is big, 90th% for height and weight and people always think she's older than she is. I won't be insulted until she's like 4 or 5 - then if they're calling her chunky it's a different story

My little (big) guy was the same size at 4 months. I just say there's more of him to love!
Seriously, how do you remember? I see pictures of DS when he was first born and already can't remember how small he was.
