Confession... (LONG!)

my restraint?  100% gone.

I was able to resist buying a lot for Scarlett because it was all summer and I knew she wouldn't wear much that is out now in September/October.  I got a few things on sale, and a few things for next summer, but nothing too much.

Then...I went to Janie&Jack in Nashville and they had stuff from some Christmas/winter lines in 3-6 months for like $5 a piece.  So I bought three outfits (2 pictured below).  It was still restrained because I spent $35.  I mean, that's hardly anything.  It was a deal!!

 After that, I was shopping at Nordstrom and they had some cute Small Paul stuff on sale, so I bought this outfit for $15 (again, RESTRAINT!  right?).

I've also bought some "necessary" items, like plain onesies and soft knit pants from Carter's.

Last night, though, my restraint went out the window.  I decided to check out the boden preview site.  I went a little crazy, even with deleting half of what I wanted to buy.

So restraint = gone.  I might end up divorced, y'all.  ;)  I mean, the above doesn't even include what I ordered for Jackson (can't leave him out, duh).  Plus I might even make a second order...

    Well, Scarlet needs these clothes. And so does Jackson. I mean, you got great deals, so I'd say you did great!

    Why doesn't Boden email me the preview site? I just ordered from there too! Linky please :-) I am trying to convince the H that we need to open the ultrasound envelope to find out the sex so I can start shopping. I think that is exactly why he wants to keep it a secret :-)

    OMG, nevermind I just googled and found it. And they have knee patch cords again AND in bigger sizes! Now I can get baby and James matching ones! The grey ones are totally gender neutral, right??

    TOTALLY.  I *almost* got them for both Jack and Scarlett, but I'm pretty sure Jackson is going to need 5Y size, not 4.  So sad - I totally would have ordered 99% of baby boden for him last year had they had size 4.  I'm tempted to get them if I order again.

    BTW, I don't know if you found a 20% off link, but MN20 works for 20% off/FSFR.

    I don't get the boden preview either, cokt!  So strange!  And, you see...this is precisely why some catalogs hit the recycling before I even open them up!  lol

    E-you have killed me with this info. The fall baby stuff is adorable and the fact that it comes bigger now is awesome. My shopping cart is already ridonkulously full and I have only looked for about 10 minutes. I will have H narrow it down when he gets home. I wish I knew what this baby was!!!!

    Just curious, if they don't ship the items until August, do they wait to charge you until they ship?  I know that is what they do with b/o'd stuff, but have never ordered off the preview site.

    Yep, they wait until it ships to charge.  :)

    So I won't be announcing my divorce until right before I birth Scarlett, LOL.

    I would pop another baby out for baby boden.

    great finds. I love boden preview.. makes my fall  shopping easier.

    Ok....love that gold dress (jumper?)  and those tights are awesome.  

    Just a bit of my mom-of-girls wisdom?  That collar, like on the J&J shirt, is a B.  I HATE those collars.  They never lay right.  Just so you know. ;)

    Now I'm off to check the preview with everyone else.

    I love the boden stuff, but the janie and jack things look like the shiit that my granny sends the kids and i send to goodwill...

    you can either name the kid scarlett and dress her better( all the boden stuff is a yes, and the purple ruffle butt pants are cute, too - OR you can give her a decent name that doesn't remind one of disfigurement, and dress her like a hobo.

    PICK ONE, yo.

    WHATEVAH BOF!  I HATE YOU!  YOU DON'T KNOW ME!!!! 

    The reality is I like cheesy Christmas-y outfits like those skating giraffes, so it's better to buy them now for $5 a piece and then put her in them once or twice in December, then to buy them at full price then.  I know my cheesy weaknesses.

    The boden stuff has sent me over the edge into shopping mania.

    For the deals that you got, I wouldn't feel bad at all about shopping.  J & J for $5?!  That is like a miracle.  It would be ridiculous for you to pass that up.  Love everything you picked out.  I always loved the ruffle butt stuff on DD.

    Cannot wait for my big ultrasound in July!
