Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Ugh Not good.

The AC just went out.

We live in AZ.

It is now 87 in the house.

The home warranty people said the AC people should call in the next 24 hours...Indifferent

I sure hope it is sooner than that!

Poor DD is in just her cloth diaper.

  • Oh goodness. Poor DD. Poor you!

Is there anywhere you can go? Somewhere cooler?

  • That is horrible!  Maybe you can hang out at the mall or something.
  • Wow.  Did you tell them you have an infant?  I don't see why they can't get the A/C people on it this afternoon.  It's called an emergency repair -- they do them all the time.
  • Oh my gosh I hope they get there sooner! You could always come hang out with us in Montana! It's raining here. Haha.

  • yuck.  I'm in Phoenix, and the good news is that it is only supposed to be in the 90s this weekend.

We had our  air conditioner replaced almost 8 years ago, and it was not fun.  Even with our home warranty it was around $600.  It took about a week for everything to be worked out.  I stayed at my parents house with DS and the cat while they replaced the unit.

    Good luck.

Yes I told them we have a 4 month old and they put it down as an emergency repair.

I sure hope they come soon.

We can't go anywhere until we hear from them because we don't have a cell phone (since I'm a SAHM and money is tight) so the house phone is where they will call...

I know I'm so glad it is only 92 today since it was 102 yesterday!

The home warranty says that it covers 100% besides the $50 service charge, I sure hope that is true.

  • You should call Star Annice. Or you can come hang out at my house...but it's quite the drive. - thought not as far as Montana. Stick out tongue

Can you forward your home phone to your neighbor's house and go sit until they come?

This is a test. This is only a test.

You could come over here, but it would be quite the drive also.

We had a $100 deductible.  Then there was a charge for the crane they needed to get the old unit off the roof (2 story house) and put the new unit on.  There was also a charge for "hazardous waste disposal."  We argued it up and down, but those 2 charges were something we had to pay.  It was ridiculous in my opinion.
