I had a LOT of NST's with DS#1 and I could be in there for an hour sometimes. They want to make sure they see enough movement and if they dont you sit there till they do.

We dont know how far she had to travel to her OB office (or if the sent her to the hospital if they couldn't get her into their office right away) and if I were her I'd go to lunch and relax a bit before going back to work. Try not to worry!! She will let us know when she can.

NST can take a really long time. I was hooked up to one w/ DS for an hour and 1/2 before the OB's office closed. They hadn't seen what they wanted, so they sent me to L&D where they monitored me & him for another 2 hours until they saw what they wanted. It doesn't mean bad news that we haven't heard. She could be there for a long time.
