I saw this the other day.

1. why sue? Nobody was harmed. I hate sue happy America!

2. the pic of them DNA testing (or whatever that is supposed to be). Really? Do we REALLY think that the CDC (or whoever is testing it) sent this person a pic of them testing it?!? Huh? Why? What? Where?

3. Someone thinks it's an eyeball! EW!

4. I'm cynical and think that the OP who has all this actually "planted" it and it's all made up.

While unpleasant, it is not a safety issue. If this had been a safety issue, Kraft Foods certainly would have taken the necessary steps, including issuing a recall.

As a general food safety tip, please remember that because Capri Sun beverages don?t have preservatives, a leaky pouch can cause the beverage to spoil and discarding it is the right action to take.

We hope this information helps clarify what you may have read about. And we appreciate your understanding the time we took over the past few days to conduct testing and ensure we responded to our consumers with factual information.

Yeah, I saw the pictures and was immediately thinking MOLD. Remember, our home was completely flooded from Hurricane Katrina and then, even after the water receded, we weren't allowed back into our neighborhood for 2 weeks. So our carpets were left saturated in 100+ degree temps, so mold grew. It smelled AWFUL and there were very thick areas of mold that resembled mushroom caps. We even had mushroom caps growing in corners of the house. So it's most certainly mold. I hate that people are speculating that it's human flesh and someone even pointed out fingers?!?! I can understand the parents disgust, but to scream sue is overkill. I would be asking for some type of reimbursement from the package and I would never buy Capri Sun again, but I doubt it if I'd sue. She said her kid didn't even drink it.

These things happen. You manufacture 10,000,000 bottles of capri sun, something is bound to get in one. I think the people are despicable for "suing" when there are no damages. I hate people like that. It just messes up the system and waste the courts time and everyone's money. It is probably just a clump of one of the ingredients.

I found a hair in my Mr. Goodbar once. I taped it to a paper and sent it to them. It turned out to be human hair, the sent me the analysis and coupons for 5 free bars. That was enough. I did not need to send it out to my own private lab or make a big stink about it.

Just went back and read the article. Yeah stupid. the pouch was leaking. No *** it would go bad. Why not leave a glass of OJ on the counter for a week and then sue because it was moldy. Ridiculous.

people are going crazy on the kraft FB page. Sounding completely ridiculous. Then the original mold lady was blocked from posting there so she had someone post this on her behalf:

I was in line at the customer service desk at the grocery store about a year ago, and a lady in front of me returned a case of Capri Sun juice boxes after finding something similar. She said as soon as she picked up the pouch she could feel it floating inside, so she cut it open and it was a huge piece of mold. Not sure what flavor, but they were definitely Capri Sun.

I saw Krafts FB page too. It's insane. I agree with everyone who has said yeah gross, but whatever. No one was hurt. Get your free capri suns and move on.

Who is to say she isn't the one who damaged the pouch to begin with.

I've had a couple of things "go bad'. A jar of mayonnaise (Hellmans I think it was) was brand new and the mayonnaise inside was moving. Really weird. I took it back to the store and got my money back. No big deal!
