I'm having friends over this weekend for a bbq and I need help with the menu. It will be an afternoon bbq b/c we all have young babies! So far I have:
- kabobs (chicken and steak)
- potato salad
- garden salad
- fruit tray with dip
- tortilla chips with spinach dip and/or salsa
- ice cream cake
I feel like I need one more side for the lunch - any suggestions? Any changes?
Thanks!
Re: NBR: Can you help me with a BBQ menu?
I think your menu looks great! If it was me though, I would serve a noodle salad and take out the garden salad. I think the noodle salad is a little more casual/BBQ'ish than a garden salad is. That's just my opinion though!
These sound delish!!
I like that idea - do you have any noodle salad recipes that you love?
You're already doing potato salad, but I have a recipe for horseradish potatoes that are awesome!!!
Let me know if you want it!
Corn on the cob?
I also have a recipe for a rice salad that's always been a huge hit at BBQs if you want it...
