Wooden puzzels!! You can find some really inexpensive ones at Tuesday Morning on the Publix shopping center on County Line and Browns Ferry. Right now, Caroline is all about ABC's and counting....she can count to 20!!
Also, books...seriously, this child would read for hours on end, if I had the time for that.

I was thinking sprinkler or baby pool too since it's summer. Last year, we did mostly dress up clothes when DS went to girl birthday parties b/c it was mid-September when most of his friends had parties.

I agree w/ Fran and Sarah-puzzles and books are always good. We also love art supples-the Color Wonder marker sets, side walk chalk, bubbles, etc.
And anything pretend play-they LOVE it at this age and it will only grow in interest within the next few years.
