Mom's of 2 year old's or almost 2 year old's

I have a 2 year old's birthday party to go to Sunday and I don't have a clue what to get her.  What is a good gift for around 20-25 dollars?

  • Wooden puzzels!!  You can find some really inexpensive ones at Tuesday Morning on the Publix shopping center on County Line and Browns Ferry.  Right now, Caroline is all about ABC's and counting....she can count to 20!!

Also, books...seriously, this child would read for hours on end, if I had the time for that.

  • Puzzles and books are always good. Also play food or dishes are good ideas. Dress up or pretend play is also good.

I agree w/ Fran and Sarah-puzzles and books are always good. We also love art supples-the Color Wonder marker sets, side walk chalk, bubbles, etc.

And anything pretend play-they LOVE it at this age and it will only grow in interest within the next few years.

  • A baby doll stroller, hi-chair or carrier
    Play food/dishes
Toy garden tools or Sand Toys(rake/shovel)
    Sprinkler for outside
    Baby pool
Water Table (if you can find it on sale)
Dishes, Utensils (princess or character themed)
    CD's of Toddler Music
DVD of favorite show (Max and ruby is Caleb's Fave)

  • I was thinking sprinkler or baby pool too since it's summer. Last year, we did mostly dress up clothes when DS went to girl birthday parties b/c it was mid-September when most of his friends had parties.
