anyone ever use breastmilk to...

..to clear baby's stuffy nose? I have found multiple websites (Including kellymom.com) that suggests it. Many people have written it works immediately . Anyone try it?

    Honest answer - I used some expressed breast milk in my own nose... I'm a big fan of trying things myself rather than experimenting on baby. It didn't seem to help and also felt kinda gross - it stung a bit (like tap water instead of saline). BUT - Hagan does gymnastics and yoga while nursing these days and often ends up with milk coming out his nose. He thinks this is hysterical, so it doesn't seem to bother him at all :)

    No, but I heard BM is good for everything including pink eye! Good Luck and I say try it and see what happens!

    I've never tried the nose, but we did put it on her clogged tear ducts and on her baby acne... cleared up both!

    i tried it wow! brynn doesnt sound like a piggy anymore! it really works! i had to take the nasal aspirator to her to suck the mucus out but it got it all!
