sand/water tables

I AM SO SORRY, I know this has been asked a thousand times but nest search function SUCKS.  Please do tell.  Do you have just a water table or just a sand table or do you have one that has space for both?  pros/cons/etc.

    We ended up going with just a water table. It's the little tikes pirate ship one. I talked to quite a few moms who didn't like the sand and water tables. They all said the sand got nasty b/c of the water and it was harder to clean out.

    Well....A friend of P got a sand and water table thingy for his birthday and his mom set it up for the party.  The kids put sand in the water part and made a HUGE mess within fifteen minutes.  I think we are holding off on this particular toy for a while.

    My parents are getting Addi one for her birthday and we opted to go with the water table because of the mess the sand would make (esp when mixed with water).  I'm going out today in search of one so I'll be able to give you a review next week =D

    Ours has two sides for sand/water, but we just put water in each part.

    Same as Carrie -- spots for both, but we only use it for water or sand, never both together.

    Same thing for us. We have this one, which I love b/c it comes with a lid (good if you use sand) and the umbrella comes in handy and keeps kiddos shaded.  Love it.

    Ours is just water and looks like a big sink. It has a pump to make the faucet work and the kids love it. I think its a Step 2 brand and we got it at TRU last year.

    We have both...the small, round, blue one is just for water, and then we use the combo Step 2 sand/water table only for sand (but you do have to make the sand damp so it will mold like at the beach).  I do think it's really messy to try and have both on the same table.

    We have the Little Tikes anchors away table (the pirate ship table). I thought the sand would be too messy on our deck. This is just a water table but Lauren loves it!
