Hey ladies,

I have been lurking on this board for 2 weeks and I am finally emotionally ready to introduce myself.  My husband and I found out in April that we were expecting our first child and we were so excited!  I went in for my 8 week appointment and saw our little angel and his/her little heart beating and it was perfect.  Two days later I started bleeding, called my doctor and they did an ultrasound and we again saw the baby's heart beating strong and I was dx with a Subchorionic Hematoma.  The doctor told me not to worry, put me on pelvic rest and scheduled me for a f/u appt the next week.  We went in for the f/u ultrasound and that is when we found out the baby had no heartbeat at 9.5 weeks.  That same day I found out that my sister was having a baby girl (she was 10 weeks ahead of me).  I have been on an emotional roller coaster the past 3 weeks and have really been comforted by reading the posts of other ladies on this board.  I look forward to getting to know everybody! Smile

    were you on the dec board? i think i might remember you- if so- sadly there are a few of us from dec on here as well- im sorry that this has been rough for you- everyone here is wonderfully supportive and pretty much anything can be said, vented, shared without any judgement- i hope we can help you find and comfort and strength to get through this very difficult chapter in your life. <<<hugs>>>

    I was on the December board but the bump kept making me verify my account and so I wasnt able to post there.  I went back there the other day to see how the other ladies were doing and that was a bad idea.  It only made me cry and think about how I should be there.
