Motherhood has a decent selection of solid colored shirts that are gathered at the side. I've had better luck ordering online than buying in the store, mainly because they have a wider selection of sizes and colors.
i got some really cute "burn out" style tees from Target. They are Liz Lange I loved the white one so much I ended up getting them in every color. They are a little longer, V neck and have the scrunched side. I looked online for you to PIP but didnt see them. BUT IF they have them in The Villages they should have them anywhere~!
I got mine at motherhood maternity, I got them when they were buy one get one half price. They are still kinda spendy. But Target has good tshirts for $8, but they don't have the stretchy sides!
Re: where to find non-tent plain maternity shirts?
I've heard that Gap has awesome maternity tees.
I am still wearing all of my pre-pregnancy tops so I haven't had to shop for shirts just yet.
I have one from Target but it's kind of see through. I'll have to check them out again.
I'm thinking that's where I'll have to go. They seemed to be more expensive than other stores so I was saving it as a last resort.
The Gap! And they have a 25% off sale right now. I got some cute shirts yesterday.
This one is comfy:

The rest are not online but in the store they have several that are scrunched on the side.
Kohls also had some when I was there. If they are having a good sale (which seems to be pretty much all the time) they are reasonable.
Motherhood, Old Navy, and Target have them, too.

I just picked up a bunch of Liz Lange ones (for Target) at the thrift store of all places--new with tags to boot.
What about checking out a secondhand shop?
