What was I thinking when I got dressed?

Um, so I just got to my office and I am very confused as to what I was thinking when I got dressed this morning.

I am wearing a dress and heels - sounds innocent enough, right?

Well, I just realized that my dress is a bit shorter than I remembered due to the growing bump (it is not maternity). And dress that is a tad too short would be fine but, I paired it with a pair of snakeskin platform pumps. That kind of sets it over the "not work appropriate" line. I feel a bit like a pregnant hooker (I don?t look like one and it is a cute outfit ? just not for my line of work).

I'm praying I don't see anyone important today as the good ole boys that work in oil & gas will be a bit shocked to see me in this.

The old gossipy admins might actually prefer if I had on fishnets b/c it would mean I was not walking around the office with bare legs. Since that is such the sin in their eyes!

LCB - what you said about bare legs makes me laugh - my husband just got a memo at work (a small business) that says they no longer have to wear socks on casual fridays, and likewise, girls no longer have to wear knee highs/stockings under capris/skirts on fridays.

and we're in NJ.
