Pregnant after a Loss

Ok, would like honest opinion on bedding

So we are not finding out what we are having.  Be honest, do you think there is any way to make this gender neutral?  Obviously it would work for boy (and it is so cute I think) but do you think there is a way to make it work for girl or just too plain boyish?

  • I think that would work.  After he or she is born if its a girl you can put up pink stuff and it would match really well!

  • I like it, I don't feel that it "screams" boy or anything. It's quite low key. I would need more outrageous color for my taste, but I do like it.

  • I think if you added some pink accents to the room it would work for a girl. I think its cute!
Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker Babywearing, cloth diapering, formula and breastmilk feeding, still can't believe I'm a mom, momma to my little man, two furbabies, and two angel babies.
  • I think it would totally work as a girl's bedding .....
but if I chose that bedding & then had a girl I would always wish I had something a bit more girly.

  • Honestly? I think it's way too boyish.  Yes, pink would make it more girly and if you added a lot of girly accents, the room wouldn't scream boy.  But, I think there are a lot of  more gender neutral options out there.  I agree with Addicted that if I bought that bedding and had a girl, I'd wish for something just a bit more feminine.  I do think it's a cute set for a boy though...
  • I definitely think it would work for a girl!  Not too boyish at all.

I definitely do agree with this, though.

Ehhh alligators not so much for girls... says the queen of pickiness about Team Green bedding. This was really my biggest, longest struggle. I ended up with this (no that's not my nursery....)

  • As it is, I think its really boyish... but you could girl-ify it by adding a pink monogram to the blanket and valances, and then tying little pink bows on some of the alligators... and maybe do a lamp with the navy, green, white and add a pink band of ribbon.  It would be preppy-girl and cute.
  • I think its cute!  I didn't want a super-girly room either, even though that seems to be what we ended up with.  You can make the room more girly with the accessories you add.
