Spoke to Dr. and Details

in 1st Trimester

So I have very minor cramping and there was blood in the toilet initially but now only when I wipe.  Dr. wants me to come in tomorrow morning for another u/s.  Seems to think that because there is no flow and no clots that it is promising.  DH ordered food in and I'm just going to hang out in bed.  Thanks for all the T&Ps.  I can't remember the last time I was this frightened.

ETA:  I had both a u/s and sex yesterday.  Could that be the cause?

    Put your feet up - watch some completely stupid TV and enjoy your take out dinner hun! I bet the sex and the ultrasound both could have caused the bleeding - you could have doubly irritated your cervix? Will keep sending thoughts and prayers times two :)

    That does sound very promising! I bet the u/s and sex could have caused it. Your cervix could definitely be irritated from all that action! ::hugs:: Take good care of yourself!

    My doctor told me that sex can sometimes cause light bleeding. Hopefully that's the cause. Good luck, let us know how it goes. Lots of good thoughts and prayers coming your way!

    I agree with as to why you may be bleeding! hugs to you.

    it can be caused by dehydration as well as gas as well as nerves are making you more aware of your body.

    I think sharp pains are pretty common.  My pain ranges from dull cramping that lasts for quite a while, to random, quick, sharp pain.  Try not to worry right now, and enjoy your takeout.  I have everything crossed for you.

    eta: the pain could be from everything stretching and moving around in there.  Especially with two babies... things are changing quickly!

    I agree with all of the above. Try not to stress too much (I know you will anyway--we all would). Hopefully it's from your u/s and sex. T&P.

    I've had those a few times. They are definitley scary. Keep drinking the water - that helped me a lot. (((hugs)))

    Just keep your feet up! I had spotting @ 11 wks with my trio the morning after we had sex. They turned out just fine they are now 2 1/2yrs old and healthy little beans :) Good luck!

    I had bright red blood after sex at the end of week 4. Scared the crap outta me. By the AM it was still pretty heavy, but quickly moved to just when I wiped. it was gone by the next day. I'm betting that's what it was. Keep your feet up tonight and I might even continue to lie in bed tomorrow. Keep us updated!

    I'm so sorry that you're going through this.  Yes, an u/s and sex could definitely cause spotting.  Around 7 or 8 weeks I spotted for a day after H and I had sex and at my appt last week I had a pap smear and the doctor said that I might spot for a day.

    I know how nervous you must be.  I'm scared right now because my boobs don't hurt as much anymore, and I'm not even spotting.  I hope you get good answers tomorrow!

    PG#1 - 3rd cycle BFP. Team Green. HELLP syndrome @ 34 weeks.
    Later diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, possible link to HELLP.

    PG#2 M/C 3/14 - Surprise BFP 2/13. Beta's doubled every 52 hours from 3w5d-5w5d
    Viable pregnancy scan at 5w5d; 2nd u/s showed 2 days of growth in 7 but a HB of 120
    3rd u/s on 3/10/14 had no HB and baby had only grown 7 days over 14
    D&C 3/17/14 - complications - DX Retroflexed uterus, multiple tears to cervix

    It's a great sign its not flow and no clots!!
