Back from my appt...

in 2nd Trimester

It went well! Heartbeat was good and strong, my placenta is 100% back to normal, and my LO is flipping and somersaulting all over the place. My OB made a haphazard guess that it's a boy. Big Smile

The little bugger just wouldn't sit still. It was awesome to see, I just wish it would have taken a break long enough to get a good pic. OB said it could have been a little penis...or a big clitoris. Surprise

The only not fun part was my blood work. Apparently, I am ridiculously dehydrated and my veins were really shrunken. So they poked me literally 7 times before they were able to draw blood. 

This is my siggy. Love it.

    Woo-hoo! Congrats on your healthy LO! That sucks about the blood-drawing, but I'm glad you're otherwise okay!

    We has the same thing yesterday about the penis/clitoris thing.  My DH is a radiologist so we went in yesterday just to see if we could tell.  At first we saw the ambigous little stump...the she moved and you could see the perfect 3 lines they look for in girls...so both DH and the tech said it was for sure a girl...

    booo that your LO wouldn't hold still long enough for a good look!

    Ding ding ding! At least she'll never have trouble in the O department. LOL

     So glad you and LO are happy and healthy, Venus! I am so relieved and happy for you. Boo about your needle pricks, though. I hate that.

    Glad everything went ok!  I wonder how bad a big clitoris would really be?Surprise  Congrats on a healthy baby!

    Your SO and my SO would get along great. When we saw it was a boy his first comment was "WOW he's bigger than me, I didn't think that was possible!

    Hey! Sooo glad to hear your placenta is behaving!!

    And if it were up to me - I'd also rather have the large clitoris! Lucky girl.  And if it's a boy - I'm sure it'll grow with him!
