(NTTCR & possible spoiler) Was anyone else...

disappointed with Sex and the City 2???  I'm a big fan of the series and LOVED the first movie, but the second movie just seemed random.  What did you guys think?

    I agree....the plot line just wasn't good...at all! But I am sad its the end of it all!

    Never really saw the series, watched the first movie on HBO and thought it was decent, but heard this recent movie sucked so I definitely won't be wasting the money to see it in a theater.

    I haven't gone to see it because I expect it to be bad. I'm waiting for the DVD. The previews make it seem like "we don't have any original plot line ideas, so let's plop our characters somewhere else out of their comfort zone and see what happens."

    I was disappointed. I thought it was REALLY far fetched (though, isn't most of the SATC universe?) I loved seeing Aiden and how all the girls met, that was great!

    I'm glad I read the spoilers because I was going to go pay $14 to go see it at the theatre.  I think I'll just wait for the DVD.

    The whole Abu Dhabi thing was STUPID! I agree that it was just too random. They should have just stayed in the city or even had them go the The Hamptons or something. At least that would have been believable!

    They succeeded in making carrie a biitch and I thought that could never happen.

    I thought it was STUPID too!  I didn't think it would take up 85% of the movie either!  The Carrie thing was a bummer too.  I wonder if they'll make a 3rd since this one is doing so horribly...?

    I'm not sure. Even though this one sucked, I would still go see a third one. Still if it does okay at the box office, then there's a possibility. I even heard about them maybe doing a prequel since Candace bushnell wrote "The Carrie Diaries" and it is supposed to be set when Carrie is in high school and explains how she met the girls.

    Oh, I would totally go see it too!  I think a prequel would be a much better idea than creating another totally random plot line!

    I am in the minorty here, but I thought the first one was seriously awful. ?I was fine with the second one, meaning I didn't love it or hate it, it was just ehh.

    The first one had me wanting to rip my eyes out.?
