Did anyone get sick after their hsg? DH and I went and had Mexican last night, and I came home and got sick. I've even had an upset stomach this afternoon. I'm wondering if it's from the Mexican or from the hsg. Your experience?
As much of a hellishly, painful experience I had during my HSG, afterwards I felt back to normal. I'd say the Mexican dinner is a safe bet of where the sickness is coming from.
This is the dye/tube test, right? Are you allergic to iodine?

**visiting from T-TTC** I actually felt a little woozy later the same day. Mine was fairly painful and I think it was my body's reaction to the pain. But, I didn't get sick. I hopeyou feel better!

Was it really painful for you? The only thing I could think of was that you got sick because of the pain, but then that would have happened right after the procedure. I know for my biopsy I had to lay on the table for a little bit because I was a little woozy from the pain.
I hope you feel bettter

It wasn't comfortable. Apparently my cervix was not cooperative, so the dr had a hard time getting the catheter through it. That was the most painful part. But I felt completely fine afterwards. The pain was on the same level as my endometrial biopsy, but just longer.
I think I'm leaning towards this being from dinner.
I have been sick after eating Mexican on multiple occasions. I still love it, but I think that's the culprit :-)
Hope you feel better soon!

Re: sick after hsg
That's what I was thinking too, but DH asked me if this could be a side effect.

Yes, the hsg is where they put dye into your ute to see your tubes. I'm not allergic to iodine.

I was a little queasy right after, but it went away pretty quickly. It probably wasn't from the HSG.
Feel better hon
