Lately I like Georgia and Virgina (would call her Ginny) for a girl.

WDYT, and what mn would you use? You can probably figure out my last name. :-)

(This is for a completely hypothetical baby, btw... I'm just really bored at work today. hehe)

    I like Virginia "Ginny."  A good friend of mine is named Virginia Elizabeth, but that's a little bit long.  I actually like Virginia Beth.  You could also use Lynn, Ann, Marie, Grace, Rose, Kate...

    No idea on the mn, but I have a cousin named Virginia (don't know what her middle name is) and she goes by Ginger.  Just a thought.

    My mother's name is Virginia, named after her father Virgilio. Her MN is Alice. She goes by Gina, though since she dyed her hair red I jokingly call her Ginger snaps.

    I do not particularly like Georgia ... I have a friend named Georgia and it drives me nuts that she goes by George.

    I like Virginia. For a middle name I think it would sound great with a single syllable(sp) name. like the ones a PP had said.

    I'm not a fan of either of those, or state names in general. I know a lot of older ladies named Virginia, so I guess it just screams 'old lady' to me.

    I just have to add though that I know a set of twin boys named Utah and Nevada. Tongue Tied

    I LOVE Georgia!!!!  I remember growing up when I knew this girl named Georgina who went by Georgie and I thought it was so cool.

    My grandma's name was Virginia (nn Ginny). I think it is a beautiful name. I also know a Georgia and an Arizona IRL. Yes, I grew up with a girl named Arizona in the state of Arizona.. weird, eh?
