carseat update and PSA
just to update on my earlier post - I did send a message about the carseat safety laws and information but got no response yet.
just a PSA (I've posted this before) if anyone is wondering about the laws about carseats.

You may also visit Youtube and search for car seat crash tests to view the differences in forward and rear-facing.
Alabama specifically states that a baby must be one year old or 20 pounds to turn forward facing (yes, the AL law says OR here - some say one year AND 20 pounds). But as the other link and crash tests suggest, it is exponentially safer for children to be rear-facing as long as possible.
